**Coral Gables** is perfect if you want that old-school Miami charm with serious walkability. Miracle Mile between Le Jeune and Douglas is packed with local cafes and boutiques. The Biltmore Hotel area has those Mediterranean revival homes with real character. You'll pay for it though - expect $800k+ for a decent fixer-upper near Granada Boulevard. But the schools are top tier and you can walk to Publix on Ponce.

**Brickell** is for the high-rise crowd who want to be in the action. The financial district vibe means you're steps from Mary Brickell Village and the Metrorail. I lived at 1300 Brickell Bay Drive for two years - the views are killer but you'll hear sirens at 2am from the fire station on 10th Street. Rents are $2500+ for a one-bedroom. Great if you're young and working downtown, but families should look elsewhere.

**Coconut Grove** around Main Highway and Commodore Plaza feels like a small town dropped into the city. The historic homes near Peacock Park are gorgeous but pricey. Where you end up depends on your budget and tolerance for traffic. I-95 at rush hour is a beast. Pick your neighborhood based on your commute, not just the vibe.

okay your little havana description is spot on. i lived off calle ocho for a year and a half and yeah you def need some spanish but the domino park energy is unmatched. also el rey de las fritas is UNDEFEATED lol. but i gotta ask - how bad is the noise in little havana at night? like i remember hearing music till like 2am sometimes. worth it for the rent though tbh
