Dear Depression,

I hear the music you play
And the hearts you lead astray

I see the ropes you render
And the blades you offer

The snipers you supply
And the pressure you apply

But for the sake of the ones I love
I make a final resolve

Not to make my mind your home
And my body your dome

My future is bright
Not even you can quench my light
