SAVADOR FATED TRILLIONAIRE
CHAPTER TWO
Night at Sanandrian's mansion. In sat Mr and Mrs Sanandrian, laughing with Emily and Carlos.
Mildred stood by the center table, pouring out their drinks for them. She couldn't stand their roaring laughters while talking about Savador and calling him a fool. It made her feel uncomfortable.
"A toast to a new beginning!" Mrs Sanandrian raised in joy. Taking hold of her wine before Mildred could pour it to the brim.
They all took their glasses as well and lifted it up to make a cheers. About clinging their glasses and cheering out, Jeremy stepped in with two big bottles of wine.
"Jeremy! You still went ahead to get the wine? " Emily gasped at her brother in amusement.
Jeremy laughs and says, "It's a night of celebration dear sister. A day to celebrate your return from the poor man's den."
They all laughed out loudly.
Mildred stepped aside when Jeremy came near. She watched them all as they stood up with their glasses to make a toast.
"Cheers to a new beginning for my darling Emily and her wonderful, I mean, our amazing Carlos, " Mrs Sanandrian raised once again.
They all clinged glasses and chorused out the word, 'Cheers', in delight. Laughing out in excitement before taking in their drink.
Mildred swayed her head at their actions. She took her eyes away from them and remained at her stand.
She has been told to stay there and serve them while they celebrate their victory. It's not her first time standing aside like a statue, serving them. She does it during other occasions, which were fine. But tonight's celebration turned out to be her least favorite.
"This is sweet, " Mr Sanandrian commented on the wine he sipped in, as they all sat down back to continue.
"Yes, it's sweet. But not as sweet as our daughter's return," Mrs Sanandrian said, smiling at Emily and Carlos.
The two held each other's hands with pride.
"You are right my dear. Tell us again Emily. Tell us how that poor fool ran away like a baby," Mr Sanandrian mocked Savador.
"Let me say it this time. Can't let my sweetheart take all the credits, " Carlos said, kissing Emily on the cheek.
The family are pleased with what they're seeing.
"Alright, you can say it," Emily allowed Carlos.
Carlos narrates to them all over again, how Savador stood in sadness before running away at the sight of the divorve paper.
To them, it's an hilarious tale, but to Mildred... It's totally the opposite.
Where she stood, she felt her heart aching, as she wondered what state Savador might be in. Her heart broke more, just listening to the Sanandrian's and how they mocked Savador.
"That's so hilarious. I wish I was there to witness his downfall. That bastard dared to call my name the other time with no respect. How I wish I smacked his face with my fist, " Jeremy said, demonstrating how he would have handled Savador.
Emily laughs and asks him why he didn't do it. "Where you scared that he'd bite back? " She teased her brother.
"Haha, very funny. At least what I had in mind wasn't as diabolical as yours, " Jeremy said, smirking at Emily. Who found his words as a praise.
"Thank you, " She appreciated.
"I never knew you were acting. I thought you really married that beggar out of love. Never knew you and Carlos planned everything. You two are nasty, " Jeremy commented.
Carlos proudly thanked Jeremy. Telling him that the idea was all his. "I challenged Emily to marry a poor man and spend a month with him."
"Yes, and I stayed for two good months. Meaning you owe me double the price money, " Emily reminded Carlos. Kissing him on the lips.
"Consider it done. You won the game after all. You deserve triple my love, " Carlos promised Emily.
This delights her more.
Jeremy smiles and goes further to praise their intelligence. Insulting Savador and calling him names.
"I hope he rots wherever he is. Thinks he can come into our home and be a part of our family. The Sanandrian's don't take janitors as a son in law. We are of high class, " Jeremy bragged.
The family backed him up.
"The bloody fool. "
"Poor bastard. I hope to see him crying mop water."
They all laughed out.
"ENOUGH! "
The family are stunned from the sudden roar that came from no other person than Mildred.
The furious maid stood at the corner, tightening her hand into a fist.
"That's enough! You people have gone way too far with your nonsense," She sparked out in anger.
"Excuse me? " Emily rose to her feet, on hearing Mildred speak against them.
"Who invited a maid into our conversation? Your duty is to serve us and not to blab where you don't belong, " Emily said, glaring at Mildred.
Mildred sees the eyes of the family on her. She never expected to burst out that way. But their attitude and wickedness towards Savador, left her no choice.
"You all are cruel. You're heartless. How did that man offend you people for you all to treat him unfairly? He never did anything wrong. You all wronged him, " Mildred voiced out.
Her words got everyone to their feet, fixing their raging eyes on her as she pointed out their doings.
Mildred blames them all for their own situation. "Your daughter accepted to ruin an innocent man's life just for millions, and you're happy about it? Savador never wronged you all. You all are the ones who came into his life like the monsters you are. "
"Shut up, Mildred, " Emily ordered, stepping closer to her.
But Mildred refused. She faced Emily straight up and called her the ultimate monster. "You are the worst human being I have ever come across in my entire life. You are worst than the devil himself."
"SHUT UP!" Emily roared at Mildred. Slapping her hard across the face.
Mildred gasped when she felt the impact of Emily's slap. She held her face and looked at Emily.
Her eyes all red, as she pointed at Mildred and said, " One more word from that filthy mouth of yours and I'll end you. "
