A PREGNANT WOMAN
Gratitude to God, my heart in pursuit,
Within my being, a seed takes root.
A vessel of creation, where life dwells,
I watch in awe as my stomach swells.
Morning sickness greets me with its wave,
Swollen feet, a reminder of the path I pave.
Dizziness spins like a whimsical dance,
Cravings and aversions, a peculiar trance.
Curves and contours, a new form adorned,
My body, once familiar, now transformed.
Discomfort in the night, restless and sore,
Yet, a baby's kicks, a love I adore.
A moment of triumph, love's purest light,
To bring forth a newborn, a joyous sight.
Soon, the labor room, my story to unfold,
For I carry another life, a miracle untold.
A new chapter begins, in love's tender grace,
Through the journey of birth, a mother's embrace.
My soul's fierce beat, I'll labor with strength,
In that sacred space, where pain and bliss meet.
Rejoicing echoes, a melody so rare,
As cries of new life fill the air.
A precious child, with love so profound,
In my arms, a miracle is found.
Nurturing a life, with unwavering emotion,
So I embrace this path, with courage and devotion.
A pregnant woman, blessed and adorned,
For in my womb, a world is reborn.
