A group of university graduate, that was so happy and grateful for successful sign out__ we were. Not having to worry about school, assignment, examination etc__that sensation was a kind of freedom that every student wish for after matriculation.
it's still so vivid. when I got admitted. my happiness was overwhelming; I was now to be addressed as a undergraduate. the feeling of a young teenage, going to a different environment to associate with new peoples was fulfilling at that point of my life.
"All that glitters, isn't gold" Even though it seem to be a false gold, it was still worth the suffering. My daydreaming of how university life would be, vanished and reality took it's rightful place. I knew it wasn't going to be easy but never did I expected it to be this hard.
Since I made it here, giving up half way was not an option to take. All I was told, I did because I have siblings who saw me as a role model and my parent that was effortlessly trying all they could to see me through school.
it wasn't easy but their constant advice and support came through when the struggle seem difficult.
I was now a certified graduate but still out there in the labour market. Most of us never thought about this chapter of life;we just wanted to graduate, jobs would find it's way to us.
Months was heading to a year and I was still jobless, aside those one or two online business I was doing but it wasn't how I plan my life.
The pressure was much both from family, friends and society at large__Our country wasn't making it easy either. Countless job hunting but still nothing to show.
I just had to give in. Yielding to the lifestyle, I never wanted for myself. The slightest thought of what I have become whispers fear and destruction.
I do still regret the choices I made and to you out there__Be you undergraduate or graduate, never give into those pressures rather fight effortlessly. WE ARE COUNTING ON YOU. THAT CHANGE CAN START WITH YOU
