"Stop, Stop, Please Stop"
My cries, tappings and pleas collapses on deaf ears.
My words, gibberish and unclear as it sounds
Are too heavy to bear
My tongue weighed down, down down.
You promised me warmth
And a peaceful blossoming breast as meal.
You said, your womb never made a mistake
That the pain was worth it.
You said I was a weapon, a strong weapon against your supposed soulmate.
First sight of you tickled my heart
I was gladden, though the first sound made where cries
But that's because outside the home
I had reckoned with for 9 Months
Out here felt refreshing and promising.
You looked into my temporary blind eyeballs and said,
"Flesh of my flesh
I name you peace".
You said your loins were so great
That it radiated over me.
You said I will be great like you
And rule over the Woman King
Till I break her wings and strong immunity.
OOH how those words gladdened me
If only I knew what I was up against.
Though the sun rises and break forth
Gross darkness hovers over this roof,
The smoke of affliction has began
Direct opposite of what I stand and I'm named for.
Calamity, troubles, sorrows
Gbos - sound of blows
Rubbling of body wears
Insults
Thrown-broken glasses.
"Noooooo"
All I scream with both hands joint
And my bow legs in shock.
We are finally done for
While inauguration of gross darkness was ongoing
A speedy blazy fire and smoky outbreak was incurred outside
And BOOM.
I stand here staring
Knowing deep down
My legs has no speed.
While I save strength
Waiting to be bitterly consumed
I wonder, who is gonna safe me
From an exposed explosion
SAY NO TO DOMESTIC AND MARITAL VIOLENCE
EYO JEDIDIAH PRECIOUS,
