~UNRULY SOUL~
Whither goest thou,
O' unruly soul?
Come thou hither,
Halt the hither and thither,
And make fortune out of time;
Don't be a loafer,
Scampering about for naught
Have thou not had enough
Of profligacy?
Go thou to the ant
And glean for thyself wisdom,
Don't be full of ego;
Come thou low, thus
It pays off to get wisdom!
Hitherto, thou knoweth not,
That the time allotted to thee,
Allotted to everyone same?
The pro and con,
Is prorata to everyone's input,
Lo, be awaken from thine delusion!
Get thou up
And do thine work,
While the sun smiles at thee,
For when it will hide its smiles:
Thou will have nought to bemoan a'out,
Wherefore thou delight in procrastination?
Behold, thence comest the labourer;
With his arms full of rewards;
From the works he hast wrought,
When the even comest:
He shall have a befitting rest;
And dearth shall never abide in his tent
