A single moth at the windowpane / wings of dust and fading stain / the streetlight hums a low refrain. / My lens is cold, my finger still / I wait for light to bend its will / to make a ghost of that dust-chill. / The shutter clicks. ugh this is so painfully beautiful. i had a similar moment last summer with a moth on my porch light and i swear i sat there for like 15 minutes trying to get the shot right. the part about 'it lives till dawn' hit me right in the chest. what lens were you using? 14 days ago
