Egusi the Best Hunger Terminator

The stressful day
followed with an empty tummy
ready to pounce on any prey
for it's fulfillment

At the sight of my native egusi soup and eba
my tummy leapt in a unique excitement
my nose couldn't resist the aroma
I began to salivate
For my body failed me

I pounced on the meal
Like a hungry lion
showing no slightest mercy

swallowing each moulds of eba
was like filling up an empty tomb
miraculous it did fill

I finalized the whole deal with water
which is life itself
And then a long rest follows
because in this life
I can't kill myself
