Justin was crying out very loud when he was going down the stairs, that he didn't notice his younger sister, Joel, who was coming. Both of them collided with each other and their father's laptop fell off Joel's hands.

"Oh no! Justin, are you blind? See what you have done. You broke daddy's computer", Joel flared up immediately towards Justin.

"What! Is that how you were going to shift the blame to me? You were the one that collided with me because you were obviously blind."

"What are you saying brother, you pushed me and it fell from my hands. You caused it", Joel said, but Justin ignored her and still went ahead to meet his father who was sitting down on the sofa.

"Justin, I saw everything. You pushed your sister and broke your father's computer, you should stop denying it", Justin's mom said, but surprisingly, his son didn't feel any remorse towards his actions. "Was he that inhumane?" She thought to herself.

"Young man, you are not feeling bad for what you did to me?. You consciously broke my computer and you don't feel sorry for your stupid action."

"Dad, why will I do that? Why will I feel sorry for your computer when you have decided to do the same to my future. You have decided to break my life the moment you said you aren't supporting my writing career." Justin said, looking piercely into his father's eyes

"Are you okay, son? Why will I try to break your future or your life? I was only trying to make you better because I want the best for you."

"No, you don't want the best for me. Writing is what I love doing and it's my happiness, but you have rejected it, yet you say you want the best for me. I don't think in any way that you care about me", Justin said amidst tears.

His father kept quiet for some moment, looking at his wife who nodded in affirmation. He turned and said, "Alright, you don't have to say that , son. Your happiness is my priority and it's my duty to give you support in anything. You can go on to write. You have my consent", Justin's father gave his son his words of approval

"Thank you so much dad. I promise I won't disappoint you. Thank you too, mom, you have always given me your support. Dad, I am sorry for your computer."

"It's nothing, I will fix it. I only thank God that it wasn't your future that got broken." Justin's dad said and everyone began to laugh.

……

Good morning dear reader. I hope you enjoyed every bit of the story.

From what happened, you could see how important writing was to Justin. Because of his persistence, his father finally gave his approval.

So, in everything, let us try to be persistent in achieving our desires and goals. Remember, writing is not only a hobby, it's also a profession.

Have an effective day.🥰
