Yes it was a great feast
We're winning and dining
Feasting and dancing
Celebrating and jubilating

All in honor of mother Nigeria
She has indeed come a long way
Despite all odds
Indeed! Sixty-three years is not a joke

After all was said and done
Mama called our attention
Like kids listening to tales by moonlight
We sat attentive listening to Mama's words

Clearing her throat and shouting aloud
She said
Please dwell in unity my children
Again I say dwell in unity
Love one another
From one source ye all came
The longevity of my life is tied to your unity
If you want me to live long
Then you will live in peace
But , if you want to soon become MOTHERLESS
Then keep the fire of hatred and strife burning
Your future is your hands
