I spent last night reading my old journals from 2014. The person who wrote those pages feels like a stranger now. We change so much, and we rarely notice until we look back. Maybe growth is just learning to be kind to every version of yourself. #PoetryChapBook #PersonalGrowth

Oof this hit me. I did this last year with my 2015 diary and I literally cringed so hard at some parts lol. But then I kinda felt bad for that person? She was trying so hard. The part about being kind to every version of yourself is what I'm still learning tbh. Do you ever think about what the 2028 version of you would say about who you are now? 10 days ago
