#TOPIC:"FORGETTING WHAT IS BEHIND".
#TEXT:PHILIPPIANS.3:13(KJV) - Brethren,I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do,FORGETTING those things which are behind,and reaching forth unto those things which are before.
#SERMONNOTE:"Holding unto the past is holding unto your advancement Let Go and try it this time with God".
*Those who reach forth for the new life in God forget their past error and records and press for the new that is in Christ.
*The new comes when the old is discard,the old memories,disappointment, failures,sins,pains and behold a new things take over in your life when the presence of him(Christ) who blotted out the Handwriting that was written against us.
*1Corinthians.5:17(KJV) - Therefore if any man be in Christ,he is a new Creature: Old things are passed away;behold,all things are become new.
*When a life is captured in God every thing called lost in the past does not matter anymore but only what matters is how to reach forth for the things ahead.
*Your Affection controls your focus;when what you focus on is circle around Earthly things there's that tendency of the negative happenings on the Earth that may make you to hold unto the past but the Victory of Overcoming in this world of wickedness is your faith in Christ.There's a victory called the "Victory that overcometh which Comes through Faith in Christ.
*Colossians. 3:1-3(KJV) - If ye then be risen with Christ,seek those things which are above,where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.Vs.2 -Set your affection on things above,not on things on the earth.Vs.3 - For ye are dead,and your life is his in God.
*John.16:33(KJV) - These things I have Spoken unto you,that in me ye might have peace in the world ye shall have tribulation:but be of Good cheer;I have overcome the world.
*1John.5:4-5(KJV) - For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:and this is the Victory that overcometh.....
