My Virtual Assistance journey started 2 years ago. I graduated with a degree in English and I have always known some of my strong areas are paying attention to details, great listening skills, proofreading and great grammar.
All along I had used these skills in places I had worked but never really focused on them. I even ventured into business. I had my own fashion store online and struggled with making the business profitable.
However, 2 years ago, I got a job to paraphrase articles and publish them on WordPress for a finance company. It was only then I got the understanding that the job can be classified as that of a Virtual Assistant.
After the job, I decided to find out more about this field and I realized that I needed marketable skills. I needed to learn administrative skills and market myself. I have sought ways to get skills by linking up to some offers on Instagram but I have not really learnt skills that will give me the confidence to put myself out there.
I look forward to learning administrative skills and even skills of tech Virtual Assistants, ambitious, right? Tools for document management, email management and organizational skills.
Virtual Assistants are invaluable assets in technology and the business world at large and I will love to make an impact by enhancing my efficiency and productivity.
