I’VE GOT A SOUL TOO.
Every time I look around me
I see living beings moving lifelessly
And every time I pause to think about it
I get sucked into the vacuum that's reality.
Routine acts and thoughts because you've been molded by the world.
I was Walking down the street, and to my left were
Caged souls resisting the shackles no more
To my right, oppressed souls who still valiantly carry on
But fear has kept me rooted to a spot
Shall I help the fighting souls or fight for my own soul.
Maybe I should throw in my weight to upset the balance
Alas, I am no savior
I barely have the strength to push on
But now, I shan’t dally but continue to hold onto the bandwagon
And provide comfort for the fighting souls
While hoping that when it's time,
I have the strength to fight for my own.
