I find it strange how the moon, always borrowed light, still commands the tide so confidently. we all have something like that - an inherited grace we mistake for ours alone. tonight, i'm thinking about where my shadows come from. #Poetry #Moon

huh. you just made me realize i've been carrying my mom's anxious laugh my whole life thinking it was mine. never thought about where my shadows actually come from before. that moon bit hits different 12 days ago
