CONTROL FREAK

Anger, the sudden urge to destroy
When the soul feels it's in danger
Panic strikes and the blood feels dense
The whole body tensed and a fist is about to be clenched

A feeling considered to be our true form
Yet it takes us by surprise, builds a fortress, and begins to reside
Anger is its own being that needs to be tamed
And if allowed to rule, it becomes a King

It is like a burning flame
Consumes from within and supersedes fame
Moves your insides like in a chess game
And when it's done, leaves you in a checkmate
