When that tomorrow finally comes

Where would we be tomorrow?
What would we do tomorrow?

Hopes were heightened as lads
That tomorrow will be ours
When that time finally comes
We will lead and conquer tomorrow
The knowledge we have acquired
The skills we chose
Become instrument to refill our pockets

Standing well balanced on our feet
Standing out
All the grooming and schooling
Will bring forth fruits in due season
Putting us on the stage of stardom
Empowering us with the wisdom of king Solomon
Helping to intensify our weak voices
And enable us lead tomorrow

Where are we now?
What are we now?

Babes become men
And milk no longer measure up with their thirst
Time now far spent
These questions begin to arise
At this age of thirty-two
When molars are set to prove
That every bone it can grind
Before our future they grind
Eye seek pleasure
The heart is requesting for its desires
Aspirations turning illusions
Resources itching to measure up with requirements
Needs are of age
Allotting cravings as reward to growth

Where we are
What we are

This is our tomorrow
We have come of age
Now we lead
Our time is now
That tomorrow is now
All that is ours, we will take
Using all we have gained and all we have acquired
To better our lot
We manage, we prune, and we lead
Now is that tomorrow
Or we rot six feet unfulfilled
