I am obsessed,
To the dish that nurture my infant self
The morsel that unite my family under a mango tree shed
making my father forget he's three decades older than us.

I am obsessed,
With the dish that makes my amylase an active entourage.
Guarding her subtle step through my stomach wall.
Until she sit like a noble in my intestine

I am obsessed
To the sweet taste of lafun abula and goat meat.
Even though I've been feeding on a strange man's meal.
Yes, my feet is actively in search of green pasture
But my heart is forever to my ancestral diet.
