Title: Cry for Intervention
The world is so dim,
Our nations are grim,
Many dying of diseases,
And killings done with ease.
But our leaders are mute,
Our lives in hoot,
Where do we run from here?
When no road seems clear.
Our tears have become streams,
Blood flows like endless dreams,
Hunger and poverty our closest stay,
Our beautiful Labour wasting away.
Our cries go up how long?
Our smiling masks wearing strong,
Why hardship so prolonged?
Our prayers for sweet gain gone wrong.
O celestial bodies, intervene,
Let our future never be in vain,
Hear us now, help us breathe,
So our hearts will forever live in relief.
