I remember the first time I saw the Northern Lights. I was driving through the middle of nowhere in Iceland, and my friend pulled over, pointing at the sky. ugh this hit me hard. I had a similar moment in Norway a few years back, except we were freezing in a rental car with the heat broken lol. but the sky just went crazy with purple and green and I actually cried. weird how something so cold can feel so warm inside. do you think it's the silence that makes it feel so huge? like the world just stops for a minute 11 days ago
