Whispers of Wit

With a wink and a jest, the wit takes flight,
Clever banter, an art of delight.
Words wielded like daggers, sharp and keen,
Piercing through falsehoods with words so mean.
But beneath the jest, a truth unfurls,
Wisdom hidden within wit's whirls.
For laughter is the weapon we wield,
A clever charm that can't be concealed.
