The Executive Chairman of Potiskum LGA, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has reaffirmed his steadfast loyalty and commitment to the inclusive leadership philosophy of Governor Mai Mala Buni, CON, COMN, describing it as a guiding light for effective governance and sustainable development across Yobe State.

Speaking on the guiding principles of his administration, Hon. Muktari said his leadership is inspired by Governor Buni’s belief in participatory governance—one that gives every citizen a voice and every community a role in the development process.

“Governor Buni’s leadership has proven that development thrives where everyone has a seat at the table,” Hon. Muktari declared. “Here in Potiskum, we are translating that principle into real action—ensuring that governance reaches every home and reflects the hopes of our people.”

His recent appointment of six Senior Special Assistants (SSAs)—covering Social Development and People with Disabilities, Rural Integration, Water Resources, Girl and Child Education, Livestock Production, and Road Transport—reflects a strategic effort to strengthen representation, promote empowerment, and deepen citizen participation.
