When completed, the market will feature over 800 modern shops, stores, and stalls, designed to meet contemporary commercial standards and support vibrant trading activities in the area.

The Geidam Modern Market is one of eight modern markets being constructed by the Buni administration in strategic locations across the state, including Nguru, Machina, Gashua, Yunusari, Geidam, Damaturu, Potiskum, Ngalda, and Buni Yadi.
