Empty space, gapping void
Deafening silence, loud quiet
It feels so quiet inside my head
Like the depth of a black hole
It swallows everything into nothing
Leaving emptiness in its wake
What once was now gone
Deafening silence that's all I hear
Who will drag me out of this void within?
All alone I sit in this head of mine.
Quiet yet the silence seems so loud.
To think I would miss those days people would make fun of me for having more than one voice in my head.
I tried to fit in, I tried to shut them up and I succeeded.
But my success seems like my greatest loss as I have no one to fill the void within.
Deafening silence, loud quiet
Deafening silence, that's all I hear.
