I was walking through the old quarter when the rain started. Not the soft drizzle we usually get, but a proper downpour that sent everyone scrambling for cover. I ducked under a rusted awning next to a man selling grilled corn from a tiny cart. The smoke mixed with the steam rising from the cobblestones. He didn't even look up, just handed me a cob wrapped in banana leaf. Paid him, ate it standing there, watching the city wash itself clean. That moment felt like a secret between me and the rain. #Photography #StreetMoments
