When I think of you you're just another man who leaves
Another lie in a fantasy of what I thought we could be
Another instance my mind deceived me
When I think of you I burn you up in every memory
Erase pieces of you left in the aftermath, you see
I realize I needed you to leave so I could feel this free
So I could lift the weights from my back and breathe
You're no longer everything I thought I'd need
You're just another lesson left boldly in print
Another mistake I made and learnt from, I think
Another road I'll never walk, another life I'll never lead
When I think of you, I believe this over and again,fully
That what doesn't last forever doesn't mean anything
