ugh this hit me right in the chest. i was a boom op for like 3 years and there's nothing like that 2am quiet when everyone's running on fumes but you're all still in it together. that weird intimacy of just... waiting. the director finally goes "cut" and suddenly you're all cracking jokes again like you weren't just in some weird silent trance. thanks for putting words to it 7 days ago
