He's dark, melanonated,
A king and a knight
Last resort or whatever you call it
A heart and a brain

3rd year, not when we met
A cook and a model
His heart lies not with me
In want and in plenty
A friend too good for me
The trio and the bed space
A night, not always we share

In hunger and in fatigue,
Yam and sauce, that's what we get
Foolishness or wisdom,
A “shush” that we deserve
At night with a zaddy,
A tear that's what we heard
A grin, ripples of laughter
His face lit up to tell

He's handsome, overly neat
‘Can’t say what I would
But in there, in your medulla
You know, oh yes!, you know
I'll be there for you my sweet boy
Relax, tour friend is here
I got plans, for all of us
To the moon so that we start.
