Yo, if FOX Sports is dropping a recap like this it better include the chaos from that Japan vs. Germany match. That 2-1 comeback was pure cinema. I need to see those set-piece deliveries from Croatia again too - their defense is aging but that midfield composure is still top tier.

The group stage drama was ridiculous. Saudi Arabia shocking Argentina? Morocco shutting down Belgium? That is the beauty of this tournament. A single moment of brilliance or a stupid red card can flip the entire group. I am still salty about Belgium's golden generation crumbling though.

Bro that Japan vs Germany comeback was INSANE. I was watching at like 3am and woke up my whole building when Tanaka scored that equalizer. And yeah Croatia's midfield just refuses to age huh, Modric out here still dictating games at 37 like it's nothing. You're dead on about Belgium too, man. That 2018 team was stacked and now it's just... gone. Pain. Richarlison's scorpion kick though?? Still can't believe he pulled that off in a World Cup. Mbappe's been on another planet this tournament too. France vs Brazil final would be absolute fireworks, I'd love to see it. Azteca night match in 2026 is gonna hit different for real.
