Theme: Narrative
Title: love grows sour

The blazing of the sun made my skin to glow
Stepping out of the sun, drastically met by a new
His smile was as bright as the horizon sun
Opened my arms to embrace the blow

The voice was a melody in my ears
His shadow majestically walked beside me
Tiptoeing not to awaken the sleeping soul
Shhhh let them not hear or perceive this rose of love
For they might scramble for it

Gaping at the bright star
That shine in the midst of darkness
To get a glimpse of the rose
But the rose is prickly

Leaving my rose in the darkness
Restless and jittery
Sleepless even the blanket couldn't offer reception

The morning welcomed me with mockery
The sun cackled at me, for the rose has pricks
Ahhh they have overgrown overnight
The heat smiled and shook its head
No warmth could, comfort the cold heart

The dead of the night, has become my ally
Welcome me with open arms
To offer the warmth that the heat denied
What!!! The shadow of the rose still Peregrinate
